Register your Will?
Wills don’t need to be registered on some central registry somewhere to be effective
The two essential things are:
1. That your Will is securely stored. Most local lawyers do this for free. This doesn’t lock your executors into using them to administer your estate;
2. That your Executors know where your Will is stored.
It is also a good idea to let your primary intended beneficiaries know where your Will is stored. The reason for this is that often many years pass between when you make your Will and when you die and Executors may even have died. In this event at least your beneficiaries know where to look.
